  • Altered Bookmaking

    January 04, 2020 | 9:00am - 12:00pm

Custom BooksThis class, taught by Chris Frausto, uses hardback books to create an assemblage/collage (or scrapbook) of the student’s own design. Magazine pictures, photographs, letters, ribbon and “other,” are applied to the pages of the book. The finished product can be thematic or something else from the imagination of the maker. All materials will be provided by the instructor, and/or the students may bring their own additions if they wish, especially to the 2nd class on the 11th. At the first session, you will get some ideas of what you might want to add to your own collage. Chris has taught this technique to students ranging from 2nd graders to members of senior centers. Cost: $30 a session, or if paid in advance, $80 for the full class of three sessions. RSVP to (702) 501-9219—however, since time is short, you can just show up on the 4th, and see what this is all about.
