  • Block Printmaking Studio

    Block Printing of a Turtle From Saturday ClassBlock print-making with Ceara. This is your chance to try this art-form before our instructor’s vacation for the remainder of the month. You can also have a chance to make a “monoprint,” which is easily done in one session and can be used to make several prints of the design. Prints could be used for greeting cards, framed art pieces, etc. Cost: $10 a session.     
  • PoetrIE Sin Filtro Writing Workshop & Readings

    PoetrIE LogoHosted by PoetrIE, will hold a workshop and readings, funded by a grant from the California Humanities Council. This is the final event in the series, and a final event for PoetrIE, before the organization goes on an indefinite hiatus. Leading the workshop at 4:00 will be Rachelle Cruz, the 2018-20 Literary Laureate for Inlandia Institute; Jazmine Joyner, the author of The Cosmic Egg; and Alicia Mosley, a fiction writer, poet and a grad fellow in UCR’s MFA program. The workshop is free and open to the first 15 attendees. At 5:00, all interested persons are invited to attend to listen and share readings and conversation with the workshop leaders and other attendees. Light refreshments will be provided.
